Welcome to the website of the Far East Veterans Association

We are a completely independent Association formed in 1997 to unite all servicemen and women and their families – merchant services and all civilian organisations who served anywhere in the Far East between 1939 until the hand over of Hong Kong in 1997.

  • We also aim to reunite lost pals who have lost contact with each other.
  • Membership is welcomed to all nationalities throughout the world.
  • The Association is run by members for the benefit of members. i.e. a non-profit organisation.

A Reunion and A.G.M. will be held annually at various locations throughout the country, thus enabling us to share the travelling.

After having virtually closed down our expansion plans we have acquired some sponsorship to help us restructure and relaunch our organisation. We are now looking for members wishing to join and help us preserve the memories of those who fought or worked in the Far East.

All Association regalia bears the Emblem as do all the Association Standards.

Roll of Honour

They May Be Gone But Are Not Forgotten

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning.
We will remember them.”
